Global Private Banking CAO/COO Cost Transformation Execution Team is responsible for end-to-end Direct Cost and FTE Governance globally. In that context the Team is responsible for GPB’s overall Management Reporting with an increased focus on Cost, FTE, Hiring, and Third-party management. HSBC is changing into a sustainable globally led and connected organisation. The role holder needs to understand the potential impact of all these changes on HSBC and drive the PB /WPS CTA Finance to respond accordingly. The role holder will be required to interact with internal parties at all levels of management and therefore needs a strong level of professionalism and gravitas. This role is temporary (end of December 2026).

What you’ll do
  • Responsible for providing consistent finance focused support to the Programme Managers and GPB/WPS CTA Finance Leads for GPB and WPS,
  • The role includes liaison with Programme Managers and Finance to create information for use at Executive Management forums, including Stakeholder Management in GPB/ GPB & WPS COO and IT Finance; specifically covering tracing and reporting of GPB & WPS CTA investment spend and benefits as well as project management of ad-hoc assignments, 
  • Automate existing framework for forecasting of both investments and benefits (e.g. revenue recognition), tracking and realization, including verification of Actual and Forecasts to maintain accuracy / alignment of core data and sensitivity analysis of forecasts,
  • Development of digitized insightful and forward-looking Management Information, providing value to wider organisation as part of Finance Digitisation journeys,
  • Support performance management to the FRP, Budget and Monthly forecasting of GPB/WPS CTA,
  • Driving efficiency throughout GPB/WPS CTA Office through automation of reporting processes and tools.

What you need to have to succeed in this role
  • Proven finance track record; functionally, operationally and technically, with experience in CTA reporting being a material advantage, 
  • Proven track record on problem solving skills and navigation within complex networks,
  • Experience in Cost, MI or FP&A roles with regular interaction with middle management both inside and outside of Finance,
  • Advanced excel and PowerPoint skills are a must. Knowledge of basic automation skills major benefit,
  • Strong analytical skills with a commercial bias. Investigative mindset,
  • Ability to deliver senior management-ready, high-quality materials,
  • Proven ability to articulate complex issues concisely and in simple language to support problem analysis,
  • Results-oriented with personal drive and motivation; ability to deliver within deadlines by working independently and able to work in a small team with a flat structure.

What we offer
The pay range for this role is 14309 PLN - 17000 PLN (monthly, gross).

Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
