Your career opportunity:
Enterprise Technology brings together all areas of financial crime risk management at HSBC including anti- money laundering, transaction monitoring, screening, risk assessment etc. and is dedicated to implement the most effective global standards to combat financial crime.
What you’ll do:
- Work within the CI/CD deployment services Agile delivery POD.
- Deliver innovative technical solutions to drive best in class automated CI/CD pipelines, using the latest industry tooling such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Helm, Skaffold.
- Deliver innovative technical solutions to deploy Cloud infrastructure such as Docker, Kubernetes, Compute Engine, Composer, Golang along with infrastructure to support API services.
- Design and engineer software with the customer/user experience as a key objective.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant controls and standards.
- Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered.
- Drive adherence to all standards and policies within their area of Technology Engineering.
What you need to have to succeed in this role:
- Experience in Finance is essential.
- Knowledge of Foundations Technology and Common Components is a significant advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Google Cloud and products such as Docker, Kubernetes, Compute Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, SOT management.
- Strong knowledge of deployment tooling such as Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, Nexus, GitHub.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentational skills.
- Keen attention to detail, and demonstrable ownership of problems and tasks.
- Google cloud certification in either architect, developer or devops engineer disciplines is desirable but not essential
