The Treasury Risk Management (TRM) second line of defence team provides independent oversight and challenge of balance sheet risk for the HSBC Group. The team provides subject matter expert oversight over Treasury activities specific to Capital, Stress Testing, Recovery and Resolution and Financial planning in the form of strategy, policies and analysis to support effective risk management. This includes collaborative and critical thinking with Treasury and Global businesses (the First Line of Defence) to ensure early identification and remediation of emerging risks.
We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as manager within the Treasury Risk Management (TRM) Capital Risk team.
What you’ll do
- Design
- Design user experiences that align with the objectives of the HSBC Productivity Suite, ensuring they meet colleagues needs and drive productivity.
- Rapidly prototype features and designs from high-level requirements to support agile prioritisation, discussion, and delivery.
- Nurture design standards by applying customer experience best practices, libraries, and frameworks to produce high-quality code and deliver an exceptional user experience.
- Maintain rigorous standards of design excellence, ensuring interfaces are both functional and visually intuitive.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate innovative design practices to maintain the application as a best-in-class productivity tool.
- Cross-Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and users to deliver design solutions aligned with business objectives and user needs
- User Research & Analysis
- Collaborate with product teams to leverage user feedback to gain insights into requirements, trends, and habits, to inform design decisions and enhance user experience.
- Participate in the research process for new flows and features
- Conduct user interviews as part of usability testing to gather feedback, understand behaviours and pain points, and refine designs.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- Experience and Knowledge:
- A strong portfolio showcasing senior-level UX design for digital products (including web applications), utilization of and impact on design systems, and the use of research insights.
- Experience with user research methods to inform design decisions.
- Understanding of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI/Gen AI).
- Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information to users and engage senior stakeholders.
- Strong ability to analyse data and user behaviour, and translate insights into strategic actions and design.
- Proactive attitude, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and passionate about staying up to date on the latest technology advancements and their benefits to internal teams and team members.
- Comfortable using English (spoken and written) in day-to-day work, including participating in team discussions and presenting updates in English when needed.
What we offer
The pay range for this role is 15026 PLN - 22533 PLN (monthly, gross).
Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
