Credit and Capital Management COO aspires to establish a world class end to end credit management function, uplift customer experience, deliver a modern risk management capability and mechanisms to actively manage and distribute the Bank’s balance sheet.
Analytics Foundations Enabler delivers standardised, innovative, common automation capabilities across multiple model management and advanced analytics use cases to achieve faster time to market, reduced costs, improved models’ performance and regulatory compliance.
The Business Analyst will work with colleagues across multi-disciplinary teams to produce and own business user requirements, functional specifications and business cases, validate and prioritise project requirements.
Analytics Foundation Enabler Business Analyst will support the management team in the delivery of strategic vision for the Analytics Foundation Enabler infrastructure and related changes in response to the regulatory and business requests.
What you’ll do
- Identify, review and analyse business processes, data and systems to understand design implications across Business, IT, Operations and agreed Future State Architecture.
- Support reengineering of processes, where process is one of the many parts of the change and provide detailed guidance on process design (considering risk, end-to-end and cost).
- Support with impact assessment for change requests on design, scope, time or effort on programme plan and provide accurate estimates for handling new requirements, design changes and scope.
- Work with markets/regions to understand delivery partner and competitive landscape.
- Support the AFE management team by quickly familiarising new team members with the team’s purpose and expectations.
- Support programme leadership in communication of strategic direction across global, regional and country structures.
- Support and encourage constructive cross-country, cross function, and cross-business teamwork by demonstrating collaboration and taking prompt action to address any activities and behaviours that are not consistent with HSBC's diversity policy and / or the best interests of the business and its customers.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- 5+ years of experience in change delivery in banking
- Possess excellent Business Analyst skills with a high degree of attention to detail
- Background working in cross-functional teams to drive requirements capture
- Experience in business and process analysis, change initiatives & re-engineering
- Experience in supporting the planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives
- Experience in Modelling or Analytics domain
- Prior management consulting experience is highly advantageous
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Visio
- Strong JIRA and Confluence skills
- Evidence of self-development across a number of disciplines
- Industry recognized technical certifications desired i.e. APMG Change Management, TOGAF Qualification, Master Black Belt – Six Sigma
