Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) Technology supports HSBC’s business capabilities in trade and receivables financing, liquidity and cash management, capital financing & investment banking, payments, and credit & lending for corporate and institutional clients covering over 50 key global locations. Our CIB Technology teams work closely with HSBC’s global CIB businesses to help design and build digital services that allow our millions of customers around the world, to bank quickly, simply, and securely, and our staff to support them efficiently. We are seeking a highly motivated hands-on Senior Technology Delivery Lead and entity manager to join our CIB Technology France Risk Systems area. 

This role will oversee end to end aspects of the delivery, from initiation to implementation, defining MVPs, vendor strategy, architecture and technical stacks. This role will be liaisoning with the relevant teams (business, operations, technology, etc) to ensure alignment and successful deliveries. The ideal candidate is an experienced global leader, with a proven track record of matrix management and strong delivery of transformation program as well as being a leader of organizational, operational and technological change.


What you’ll do
    • Work closely with the manager in France to define your priorities and the strategy. Build your local team with PMS, PMOs, BAs and lead all those individuals, in alignment with the strategy.
    • Deliver in an agile and efficient manner; manage supply and demand pipeline and give guidance, direction for making decision to achieve goals, deliver products that align with business.
    • Work with the business, operations and technology to deliver the strategy end to end.
    • Work closely with the Quality Engineering Lead, Lead Engineer and Architect to build a fit-for-future product
    • Follow HSBC Architecture and Engineering standards and strategy.
    • Provide mentorship and training to your team, to foster the learning culture and to enhance team delivery and performance quality.
    • Address technical engineering debt and drive for technical evolution aka Digital Transformation for the teams by working closely with relevant parties (e.g., business, Subject Matter Experts, Solution Architects, etc). 
    • Champion adherence to standard controls and driving teams to achieve compliance and framework, capability management, Security controls and technology architecture designs. 


What you need to have to succeed in this role
    • Min. 12+ year experience of transformation and software developments with minimum 2 years of Agile methodology.
    • Demonstrable business banking knowledge in one or more of the following domains: Sustainability, Regulatory, Products or Risks.
    • Strong delivery record on enterprise level services and products and demonstrable experience leading and managing agile, cross function delivery distributed technology teams encompassing 30+ staff (direct and indirect resources) for a minimum of 10 years.
    • Have demonstrable experience working and implementing third party solutions and customer facing applications.
    • Have budget management experience ($4m+).                          
    • Experience in presenting to senior stakeholder in both business and technology. 
    • A passion for technology and look for opportunities to learn and bring new ideas to the team.  
    • Have ability to mentor, develop talent and motivate staff to reach their optimum performance levels and career development.
    • Have a good communication to be able to understand all the stakeholders and have a good behaviour to serve our business.  “Can-do” attitude and problem-solving mindset.
