Private Banking and Trust Services - Private Banking Department
Hang Seng's Private Banking provides services for people who have successfully built their asset base and now want to place their wealth in the hands of experts who know how to nurture it.
Our banking services and products are bespoke, ranging from tailored investment advice and capital solutions to holistic health and personal protection and trustee services. Our team offers professional wealth management advice at both a local level and on a global scale.
Should you join our Private Banking business, you will focus on building close relationship with our high-net-worth customers, providing professional advice and premium service to them and contribute to the profitability of the Bank.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Head of Credit Support.
Principal responsibilities
- Manage loans portfolio of private banking clients including credit quality, margins and utilization.
- Contribute to the growth of loan balance and utilization. Maintain effective collaboration with frontlines for credit advices and proposal approvals.
- Drive credit-related projects to exploit new revenue sources and process streamlining to enhance efficiencies.
- Conduct regular monitoring on loan portfolio. Initiate procedural changes and/ or system enhancements to fulfill both internal & external requirements to ensure control effectiveness.
- Oversee capacity planning and productivity management. Ensure a sustainable operation model is in place for scheduled reviews with the ability to cater for business priorities.
- Strategize planning for private banking and drive collaboration across teams to create synergy.
- Keep abreast of lending market trend and drive on-going enhancement on lending business or product offerings to private banking customers.
- Manage team members to maintain the Group’s/ Bank’s internal control standards, implement and observe the Group’s/ Bank’s Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of its occurring.
Requisitos
- University graduate with degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in banking industry covering credit / frontline liaison function, preferably with Private Bank experience.
- Proven managerial, supervisory and planning experience; with understanding of sales culture and sales support function.
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work under pressure; excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Understanding of the latest development in compliance, regulatory requirements and credit guidelines.
- Proficient in both English and Chinese.
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
