Hang Seng Investment Management Limited (HSVM)
Established in 1993, Hang Seng Investment Management Limited (“Hang Seng Investment”) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hang Seng Bank Limited, and is Hong Kong No. 1 exchange-traded fund (“ETF”) manager in terms of assets under management. As a Hong Kong based asset management company specializing in managing funds related to mainland China and Hong Kong markets, Hang Seng Investment is committed to providing investors with comprehensive investment management services through investment managers with extensive experience in managing funds (including a series of ETFs and retail funds) and investment portfolios for institutional and private clients. We are seeking a high caliber to join us as Head of ETF Capital Markets.
Principal responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with stock exchanges, participating dealers, market makers and ETF professional traders to create an efficient primary and secondary trading ecosystem
- Work closely with ETF and Institutional sales team to identify new ETF business opportunities from asset owners, investment managers, private banks and institutional investors
- Arrange seeding when there are new ETF launches
- Provide pre-trade analysis, execution advice and operational guidance to potential investors from all channels for optimal execution of ETF orders
- Proactively monitor trading volume, fund flow and premium/discount for promoting market activities around HSVM ETFs
- Deliver ETF education and market insight, both internally and externally, to promote HSVM ETFs
- Collaborate with product, marketing, operation and investment team to explore new ETF ideas, product enhancement and distribution strategy to grow the ETF business.
Requisitos
- University degree in Economics/Finance or related disciplines, preferably with relevant professional qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in the ETF industry with good knowledge on creation/redemption and capital market operation
- Existing relationship with key participating dealers, market makers and ETF professional traders within the ETF ecosystem
- Prior experience in ETF sales or business development
- Strong self-motivation, high mobility and able to work openly with stakeholders from different background
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage
