As our Head of Product, Commercialization & Implementation you will:

  • Manage a team of senior trade product specialists in delivering client-centric solutions to support aggressive growth ambitions
  • Responsible for the development and deployment of industry leading solutions that address the working capital needs of GTS clients
  • Own the design and execution of the end-to-end US GTS Product strategy which includes the development of solutions, their implementation and commercialization at scale across all segments of CIB
  • Responsible for the profitability of all GTS products and services in the US. This includes the planning, directing and organizing of resources to develop market leading propositions
  • Lead a customer centric culture that is focused on delivering a differentiated customer experience through the lifecycle of their GTS relationship
  • Provide GTS leadership and technical expertise to internal and external partners to accelerate the execution of new propositions, digital solutions, transformation projects and strategic initiatives
  • Deliver a US GTS Product strategy that further differentiates the proposition within the market and includes a clear focus on the client experience from the solution design to its implementation
  • Collaborate with Regional and Global GTS Product to identify and deploy new solutions to capitalize on market opportunities and enhance GTS’ ability to meet client challenges
  • Manage the financial oversight of all products, including revenues, costs, RWAs and other key indicators
  • Lead the development, execution, marketing and monitoring of strategic product initiatives that directly support growth, the customer experience and broader awareness of GTS capability with internal and external audiences

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $322,100.00 and $214,700.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requisitos

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Trade Finance preferred 
  • Extensive knowledge of the Global Trade industry, products offered, market trends, competitive landscape and pertinent regulations affecting their delivery
  • >10 years in a client-facing delivery environment, ideally within Trade Finance or global financial-services organization
  • Proven leadership skills in complex, matrixed organizations - leading through influence and direct authority across teams and in a global organization
  • Strong communication skills, with proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholder engagements
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze complex problems, interpret customer or operational needs and develop integrated, creative solutions
  • Significant platform knowledge including ERPs and industry platforms associated with Core Trade, SCF and RF solutions
  • Strong background in product development, or operations with hands-on technology or business transformation experience
  • Demonstrably successful project manager with a track record of delivering change within a Transaction Banking setting. 
    Strong process reengineering/business transformation experience.
