Investments and Wealth Solutions

Hang Seng's Investments and Wealth Solutions offers a full spectrum of wealth products and services to our Wealth and Personal Banking customers, from high-net-worth to mass segments across channels to capture opportunity under different market scenarios. We play a distributor role to source investment and insurance products from service providers, manage the product due diligence and onboarding, as well as client journey design and implementation. We distribute investment funds managed by top tier fund managers covering different types of funds, across regions and asset classes. A wide range of structured products with underlying linked to equities, FX rates, interest rates, investment funds, etc. are offered for investors to pursue different investment objectives. We also offer fixed income instruments and certificates of deposit to customers who look for regular coupon payment.  Besides, we have securities services covering exchange traded equities in local and overseas markets offered through a wide variety of trading channels. Margin trading services covering FX and securities, and investment financing service provides extra liquidity and purchasing power to cater for investment needs from sophisticated investors.

We are seeking a high caliber to join us as Head of Wealth Commercialization and Proposition.

Principle responsibilities
•    Lead the development and management of wealth sales journey, financial planning process and customer wealth journey, to ensure robust risk controls when distributing the investment solutions in accordance to regulatory and internal requirement and policies
•    Build, expand and maintain a competitive offering of investment solutions and services that may emerge across customer continuum as a key building block and contributor of the bank’s wealth and retail proposition
•    Work closely with product owners, Chief Investment Officer and channel owners to define and make available the most suitable managed solutions, formulate distribution strategies under different market scenarios for a satisfactory customer and sales wealth journey across branch network and digital channel
•    Work with Customer Proposition and Customer Management, Marketing, and distribution channels to maintain highest standard of excellence in client service with individual clients with regular monitoring of client satisfaction 
•    Work seamlessly with Wealth Product Governance, Platform and Solutions Unit and Business Risk Control Unit, lead implementation and oversight of policy and governance frameworks, procedures, practices and standards to ensure quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance

Requisitos

•    University degree in Investment, Business Administration, Banking and Finance or related disciplines
•    Over 15-20 years of relevant experience and professional qualifications and have exposure in Hong Kong and wider GBA regions an advantage
•    Solid background and proven track record in leading investment products development/ management, product proposition/commercialization, ideally with business/sales management experience on investment products at senior level
•    Demonstrate purpose-led leadership and strategic focus with strong growth mindset and passion to champion change and promote innovation
•    Strong customer centricity focuses to deliver exceptional quality services and experience for customers
•    Highly effective navigation within a complex matrix environment, governance standard and regulatory context with agile ways of working and strong engagement with different levels of internal and external stakeholders
•    Strong track record in orchestrating and leading effective transformation plans and programmes, and implementation of change initiatives working across multiple business and functional stakeholders to successful completion
•    Seasoned people leadership to engage, motivate and develop a diverse team; drive strong performance culture with clear aligned direction; build talent pipeline and business bench strength
•    Strong outcomes focus with adaptability, sound judgement and able to make tough decision, and accountability in delivery   
•    Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese  
•    License holders in relevant areas as required by SFC, HKMA and MPFA
