We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Hospitality Executive.

Principal Responsibilities

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for managing Digital Business Services (DBS). DBS is the foundation of HSBC. We provide essential support for the bank through operations, technology and key central business services. 

The COO Office supports the Hong Kong COO and Chief Administration Officer (CAO) by working with teams internally and externally on the COO’s behalf, to provided business management support (e.g. communications, strategy execution, financial management, governance and people engagement), executive hospitality and events (e.g. client hospitality services, employee dining, HSBC conference facilities, etc.), and as well a wide range of employee services and benefits.

The role of Hospitality Executive is to support the Head of Hospitality Services and Business Amenities Operations Manager in executing the amenities operations in HK, namely catering (Client & Staff), guest services, meeting and conference rooms, event spaces and collaboration spaces.   More, to drive impactful sustainability initiatives & events for over 4,000 DBS and bank-wide employees upon assignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Hospitality Services in catering planning and implementation process
  • Tabulate all catering expenses and input the data into the financial system for monthly submission 
  • Part of the support team for Senior Executives
    • Manage the Internal & external business and social engagements
    • Organise and run the International Assignee Partner Programme and volunteering activities
  • Identify the volunteering opportunities, plan, organise and implement community, social and seasonal events that directly impact the purpose of sustainability
  • Coordinate all venue bookings and set up arrangements for in-house events
  • Undertake ad hoc projects as assigned by Head of Hospitality Services
Requisitos
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact well with others
  • Willing and enthusiastic learner with a can-do attitude
  • Basic administrative or secretarial skills with a meticulous mindset
  • Two years of working experience in Guest Services/Sales/Event Executive in hospitality – Food and Beverage industry
  • Good working knowledge of Food and Beverage industry products and customer service standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools, with interest to learn new software and systems
  • Flexible team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done; adaptable and enjoys a challenge
