We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role IT Service Owner L3 Production Support Lead

Role Purpose:

This is a key production support role for IT to maintain our critical Fraud systems. ITSO (IT Service Owner) is responsible for responding effectively for disaster recovery (DRE) plans, dates and coordination with US Vendors. Acting as a communication point and L3 engineer with local team and US Vendors

Main Activities

  • Coordination of Disaster Recovery (DRE) plans – Works with vendors/HSBC technical resources (network team, developers)/business teams to develop a plan to align with scheduled Disaster Recovery dates. Also provide support during HSBC and Vendor DREs

  • Supporting annual network certificate renewal activities by coordinating between vendor, network and business teams for scheduled events

  • Maintain our critical Fraud systems. ITSO is responsible for maintaining all governance aspects of internal HSBC repositories (EIM), policies (ITSA/NFR) disaster recovery (DRE)

  • Role location is in Mexico, but team is geographically dispersed with other team members in India, UK and US, and regional teams located in Hong Kong and Mexico

Requisitos

Mandatory

  • 5+ years of support experience mainly as L2 or L3 preferably

  • 3+ years of experience managing Vendors and Third Parties on Production Support, preferably if these vendors are outside of Mexico

  • 2+ years of Java / UNIX software development experience

  • Experience as a full stack engineer with ability to leverage Micro-services architecture and define new re-usable micro components using latest programming technologies and Java.

Desired

  • Knowledge of tools such and Jira, Confluence, Visio a plus

  • Consulting experience, communication to clients, business partners, and management a plus

  • Experience with presentations, facilitation of meetings, etc. a plus

  • Ability to work under pressure.
