We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

  • The Project manager is responsible, on behalf of the Programme Manager, for delivering change. The role requires effective co-ordination of the workstreams and management of their inter-dependencies including oversight of any risks and issues arising. It also includes the co-ordination of the new capability for the business to enable effective change and realisation of projected benefits.
  • Progressing requirements and managing backlogs
  • Planning and designing the project and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action
  • Defining the project’s governance arrangements
  • ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the project - focusing inwardly on the internal consistency of the project, and outwardly on its coherence with infrastructure planning, interfaces with other projects and corporate, technical and specialist standards
  • Managing third party contributions to the project
  • Managing communications with all stakeholders within Program and wider teams / business functions.
  • Managing both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects
  • Managing risks to the project’s successful outcome
  • Working with the business change manager or equivalent on the transition to the new business as usual position
  • Initiating extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the project are identified or issues arise
  • Resolve basic technical queries from ITSO & Delegates
Requisitos
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree with Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of Core IT Project management experience with over 11 to 15 years of IT Experience in a large-scale Financial Services environment or global corporate service provider
  • Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst the members of the project teams
  • Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling Projects
  • Project management experience in delivering IT infrastructure Projects or Cybersecurity Solutions.
  • Good to have PMP certification or Agile certification with strong experience of managing project using PMI methodology and process
  • Strong Communication and Stakeholder Management experience
  • Strong experience using in PowerPoint, JIRA, Excel for analysis and project status report
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and ever-changing priorities and having extremely flexible to manage workload
  • Able to support aggressive delivery timelines without compromising on quality (Impact will be huge if firewall rules are not accurate for surrounding service sign off)
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity and some knowledge of Cyber risk and controls quantification. 
  • Understanding of industry standard controls frameworks (e.g. NIST FSS) and some knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Understanding of project management principles and a relevant Project Management qualification (e.g. PMP, Agile Certification with strong understanding of PMI Methodology and process)

Desirable technical skills:

  • Firewall Rules understanding.
  • Network Topology understanding
