We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Investment Analyst. 

Principal responsibilities:

  • In this role, you will collaborate with multiple Portfolio Managers to iterate on financial models and investments, track news flows and sell-side research views, cover results, provide detailed modelling of company financials, and prepare investment writeups/presentations. You will also be required to conduct in-depth benchmarking of valuation and operational metrics (versus peer groups), sensitivity/scenario analysis and sustainability evaluation. Additionally, you will be expected to attend management, sell-side, intermediary, and sector expert calls.
  • The candidate will identify potential investment opportunities as well as highlight areas for engagement.
  • Stock level research includes i) Financial modelling and forecasting based on findings from corporate access and using sell-side analysis and ii) a Sustainability analysis and assessment focused on materiality and change.
  • Articulate and clearly communicate investment ideas and research findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on market developments, industry trends and regulatory changes affecting the investment landscape.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of macroeconomic factors and their impact on investment strategies.
  • Be flexible and dip into new, evolving investment areas such as responsible investing.
  • Mentor and groom junior team members on their day-to day activities.
Requisitos
  • The candidate should have a degree in finance or equivalent Master of Business Administration/ Chartered Financial Analyst/ Chartered Accountant degree, with 7-8 years of investment research experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing research reports and presentations.
  • They should have outstanding financial modeling and accounting skills.
  • Understanding of equity markets, fundamental and valuations, and the ability to generate investment ideas.
  • Proficiency in using financial research tools and databases, including Bloomberg etc..
