We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director

In this role, you will: 
•    Develop and maintain APIs & microservices in Java/SpringBoot and supporting cloud services (AWS/PCF). 
•    Provide support across the end-to-end delivery and API lifecycle. Carry out software development, testing and operational support activities with the ability to move between the technology stacks. 
•    Reviewing and being responsible for code quality, facilitating development, testing support, production support and implementation of End-to-End Integration applications.
•    Enhancing applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations, and designing and implementing systems
•    Liaising with colleagues to implement technical designs.
•     Flexible to work in shifts and provide on-call support.
•    Advocate and advance modern software development practices within the engineering community. 
•    Helping with designing, maintaining, and improving all aspects of the software delivery lifecycle 
•    Working with Ops, Dev and Test Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues, etc.) are identified and addressed at all stages of a product or service release / change. 
•    Liaise with other engineers, architects, agile coaches, and other stakeholders to understand and drive the software products 
•    Delivery focused, and a completer-finisher who possesses tenacity and resilience to get things done.
•    Work closely with teams, product owners, agile coaches, and other stakeholders to ensure we deliver world-class tools and capabilities for our engineering community 
•    Actively participate in the Engineering Discipline and associated communities 
•    Keep up to date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency. 
•    Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities

Requisitos

Qualifications - External
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
•    Strong knowledge and development experience in Java/Springboot/APIs & microservices. 
•    Knowledge of cloud environments, AWS, PCF 
•    Expertise GIT , Jenkin, pivotal cloud, JIRA, Confluence and debugger etc.
•    Expertise in Application monitoring tool like Splunk, AppDynamics DATA Dog etc.
•    Good knowledge of standard tools like JMeter (performance analysis), Postman (to involve API’s).
•    Improving system quality by identifying issues and common patterns, and developing standard operating procedures
•     Enhancing applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations, and designing and implementing systems
•    Maintaining and improving existing codebases and peer review code changes
•    Liaising with colleagues to implement technical designs.
•    Investigating and using new technologies where relevant
•     Flexible to work in shifts and provide on-call support.Analytical skills and the ability to leverage large data sets to drive change and improve current ways of working – can spot trends, patterns, errors and inaccuracies, with excellent attention to detail.
•    Flexible approach to work, with the skill and experience to manage and deliver multiple pieces of work at once.
•    Delivery focused, and a completer-finisher who possesses tenacity and resilience to get things done.
•    Maintaining congenial work environment
