We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
In this role, you will:
- Have Complete DevOps responsibility over the delivery of the system that support Global Markets Sales and Finance business - design, development, testing, coding, deploying and last but on the least production supporting which is the most important thing in department.
- Adhere to the agreed technology stack and practices of the organisation, and actively contribute to them.
- Focus on quality, time and budget constraints
- Communicate efficiently within the team and business stakeholders
- Work with global diverse teams
- Driving an Agile culture
Requisitos
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Aptitude to learn and quickly pick up new technologies when required
- An ability to collaborate with relevant technical staff and project managers to constructively facilitate efficient and controlled delivery.
- Proactive and willing to lead initiatives for improvement and to resolve issues
- Comfortable working in rapidly changing and ambiguous situations
- Familiarity with HSBC current systems and processes
- Skills required: Kotlin, Java, ReactJs, Python Knowledge. Willingness to work on any technology
PostGres, SQL Database Knowledge

- Expertise in governance such as:
- Production governance
- Monitoring
- Risk & Control
- Support
- Deeper understanding of component delivery in areas such as:
- Security
- Accessibility
- Leading retros at a pod level.
- Broader knowledge of cross component dependencies and ownership.
- Actively improving the system stability and monitoring
- Understanding of underlying infrastructure components
- Understanding of tech debt.
