We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Lead Consultant Specialist
In this role you will:
- Partner with HSBC’s business and developers in ensuring the possibilities afforded by the emergence of Cloud/SaaS offerings are understood
- Advise on technical best practice for Digital solutions from software selection through to technical architectures and implementation processes
- Identify & evaluate 3rd party products (e.g. archiving, encryption, access management) which help fill gaps within the service offering
- Advise on design and development throughout iterations of delivery from a technical perspective
- Perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments and use in designing the solution
- Document best practices, guidelines, and training information
- Provide thought leadership and practical experience in the design and testing of the Digital solutions
- Enterprise Application integration
- Web applications servers (Apache HTTP Server & Tomcat, IIS, Websphere)
- End to end agile infrastructure architecture across all layers
- Passion for technology & understanding how things work
Requisitos
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- The Lead Architect will partner with key stakeholders. The Lead Architect acts as the lead technical authority for the design and development of solutions, taking advantage of technologies, architectures and methods to organize and interrogate huge volumes of unstructured data.
- Define and deliver solutions platforms with tiered service levels whilst adopting Agile methods
- Applying architectural risk management techniques and decision-making principles to ensure that Digital delivery velocity is maintained without compromising architectural integrity
- Seek to push forward Cloud and Software As A Service strategies to provide cost effective and future proofed solutions for Pinnacle
- Ensure that savings & efficiency are delivered through reduced complexity and internal solutions
- Enable effective regulatory, audit & security controls
- Programming in Java/ Java GUI, XML/ XSLT, HTML/ Java Script
- A technology oriented degree with over 14 years of IT experience.
- Experience in delivering solutions in roles other than architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in communication, English, Cloud technologies, and General AI knowledge.
- The ability to influence and champion new ideas and technical direction within the organization.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Awareness of Infrastructure Design and concepts, Integration concepts, techniques, and patterns.
- Knowledge of Data modelling and Data Architecture concepts, APIs, and Messaging infrastructure and standards, with an understanding of security concepts and design.
