We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as subject matter expert on VBA (visual basic for applications) and MS Access SQL queries-based MS Excel automated tools
  • Own and independently manage MS Excel automated tools.
  • Provide production support, support tool enhancement, EUC migration on strategic platform, process optimizations etc…
  • Perform requirements gathering and analysis to provide high quality EUC automation solution, ensuring the closest involvement with, and agreement from, the user community
  • Collaborate with designated members of the applicable business group and project managers across geographies to understand customer needs
  • Assist with process modelling, process migration and to enhance or re-engineer EUC processes, prior to, or in parallel with, automated solution design and implementation, as required
  • Collaborate with financial tools IT team and other financial analysts to ensure adherence to process requirements and customer needs
  • Provide End to End EUC technical solution for Business process. Act as liaison between operations SME and IT Team for system implementation changes
  • Triage of issues reported by EUC (End User computing tools) users, Resolve confliction end-user requirements
  • Collaborate with business teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of automated solutions
  • Ability to manage vast no of clients across multiple geographies, collaborate with a global team where co-ordination activities would cross regional boundaries
  • Proactively remove impediments, see technical risks, and communicate issues to project Manager
  • Ability to communicate solutions, ideas, suggestions to business partners effectively and comprehensibly
  • Ability to support complex EUC’s which deals in Instrument and Pricing data involving connectivity with external data vendors
Requisitos

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Expertise in MS Excel VBA, MS Access, SQL queries, Advance Excel
  • Strong ability to communicate technical and data concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical, organizational, verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong relationship building and facilitation skills to work directly with business users who are not technical in nature
  • Critical thinking abilities to take complex, ambiguous, abstract requirements and break them into smaller components, patterns, views and features. Ability to conceptualize and think creatively, familiarity with agile development methodology is desirable
  • Good to have Python, XML Skills
  • Basic understanding of financial applications Request builder, XDS, TREATS etc…
  • Experience with Analytical data, querying and managing them.
  • Basic understanding to third party financial data vendor applications (like Bloomberg, Refinitive, Showcase etc) will be an added advantage
  • Basic understanding of Investment banking and capital markets

     

     

    Minimum required education and experience:

  • Candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science/ IT 
  • 12+ years of experience in Software Engineering with proven expertise in designing, developing and deploying VBA based applications
  • Candidate should possess basic understanding of Investment banking and capital markets. Certification of minimum of six (6) months programme from premier institution is desirable
  • Any globally recognized project management certification from premier institution is desirable
