Descripción

The role holder is responsible for ensuring the Global Trade & Receivables Finance Chief Controls Office capability for the area.  This activity covers core all or one of Trade Services, Receivables Finance, Commodity and Structured Trade Finance and Forfaiting business areas.

They will provide expertise and coordination to the business so they are able to deliver a robust CCO capability for Global Trade & Receivables Finance.

They have responsibility for business risk compliance with Group standards and regulatory and Group Audit requirements in respect of business risk control, which includes ensuring that controls are operating effectively through liaison with regional CCO and coordination of control testing activity liaising with country business risk teams in Comercial Banking, HTS and Center’s of Excellence (as appropriate).

They are responsible for helping to ensure that best practice is identified and shared effectively across all businesses to heighten control standards along with the development and articulation of key controls information and indicators for Global Management, Global Trade & Receivables Finance and Comercial Banking  Relationship Managers  and business areas.

Impact on the Business
• Responsibility for the Global Trade & Receivables Finance  FIM incorporating all relevant business areas
• Responsibility for global generic Risk Control Assessments
• Help to drive the implementation of the CCO structure and disciplines through the regional CCOs and other business and functional CCO teams.
• Conduct global, regional and country specific themed control reviews
• Help to drive the implementation of robust and auditable CCO plans across all regions and countries.


Customers / Stakeholders 
• Builds networks across functions, customer groups and regions to provide expertise and implement CCO capability
• Helps to drive best operational practice through CCO activity, themed reviews, liaison with other functional areas and Global Trade & Receivables Finance  business management
• Helps to drive effective CCO capability resulting in clean audits and ORR reviews and reduced losses and incidents

Leadership & Teamwork 
• Delivery of results through teams not directly managed (other global business and functional control teams).
• Delivery of results through directly managed teams (regional and global CCOs). 
• Management of multi-disciplined review teams incorporating other CCO functions and business management secondees 
• Use of professional knowledge and experience to provide support and guidance on specific areas.

Requisitos

Requirements:

Essential       
• Knowledge and practical experience of either Global Trade & Receivables Finance  businesses or an Audit or Internal Control function
• Detailed understanding of the relevant Region and structures
• An appreciation of the global nature of the Group’s business
• Refined ability to deal with and influence senior Global Trade & Receivables Finance  management in their area
• Strong independent contributor who is comfortable working in a self-directed mode
• Ability to assimilate other product areas and contribute effectively in control related activities

Desirable
• Broad knowledge of the Groups three lines of defense and the practical application of CCO requirements
• Leadership experience or experience working in a role that demonstrates leadership
