We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager, Equities Product Control.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Perform valuation adjustments, such as Independent Price Verification, Bid Offer, Model uncertainty, other Fair Value Adjustment, and Prudent Valuation Adjustment, in accordance with global valuation guidelines for all business lines in equity asset class, regardless of the trading book location, like Hong Kong, Paris, London, and New York
  • Ensure accurate and timely computation of reserves and controls
  • Work as part of the Global Equity Valuation team based in multiple location: Hong Kong, London, Krakow (Poland), Paris and other locations
  • Ensure well controlled and accurate valuation reserves, provide analysis on the results to Front Office and Senior Valuation Controller
  • Review reserve policies in accordance with regulatory requirement or market evolution
  • Assess internal models and address any deficiencies
  • Support requests from external and internal auditors
  • Proactively improve and automate current processes
  • Create and maintain relevant documentation
Requisitos
  • Previous experience in Equity Valuation Control or Equity Product Control is preferred. However, candidates with experience in Equity Market Risk or previous Audit experience in this area will also be considered
  • Good understanding of vanilla and complex equity derivative products, market risks and pricing parameters
  • Strong IT skill required including experience with VBA, SQL, Microsoft Access, Python
  • Excellent written English and oral communication skill
  • Good numerical/quantitative background
  • Great interpersonal skills, including the ability to articulate key quantitative issues in an understandable way
  • Good appreciation of regulatory guidelines, rules, requirements
