Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world’s largest global wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets.  Our dedicated colleagues serve millions of customers worldwide across the entire spectrum of private wealth, ranging from personal banking for individuals and families, through to business owners, investors and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.  We provide products and services such as bank accounts, credit cards, personal loans and mortgages, as well as asset management, insurance, wealth management and private banking, that best suit our customers’ needs.
We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

In this role, you will:
•    The role is a client facing role managing the HSBC relationship with our highest value UAE national clients where professionalism, client focus and an expert understanding of financial planning and wealth products are critical to the success of the business.  The role holder has a responsibility to acquire, develop and retain relationships with a portfolio of Premier clients who will be primarily UAE nationals. Key objective is that all customer queries and services must be completed end-to-end by the RM themselves. The position holder will not have a Premier service manager assigned to them.
•    For the role of Manager Premier Relationship, it requires exceptional ability to build trusting relationships with existing and potential Premier clients, help clients articulate their needs, and deliver to exceed client expectations. Success requires getting to know clients on a personal and professional level to understand their short- and long-term financial goals. They will use deep understanding of the client’s situation and external market knowledge to educate clients and provide financial advice which leads to highly individualised strategies aimed at wealth creation and capital preservation.
•    The role will entail reviewing the Premier portfolio regularly to identify opportunities to use the distinctive capabilities of HSBC, spanning lines of business and geography, to the advantage of the client.  In so doing the job holder can increase client loyalty by meeting their needs either directly or through effective and proactive collaboration with other internal business partners.  
•    Understanding and adhering to local and global compliance requirements is critical. In delivering the business objectives the role holder must also maintain the levels of operational integrity required by HSBC and adhere to the Business Principles and Values of HSBC.
•    Relationship manager is accountable for the performance of their portfolio and needs to ensure it is effectively run within the WPB model and delivers to the Premier Proposition as defined by HSBC Group.

Requisitos

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
Knowledge / Experience
•    Graduation degree is a must – to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit
•    Minimum experience of at least 3 years as Relationship Manager.
•    Evidence of strong client recommendation and sales results in banking products.
•    Equivalent relationship management experience in managing high net worth client portfolios preferred.
•    Sound knowledge of the impact of macroeconomics/microeconomics/local market developments. 
•    Strong clients focus and ability to develop long term partnerships with clients.
•    Ability to deliver needs-based solutions through effective communication, influencing, and sales skills.
•    Local regulatory & license requirements - job holder should possess valid licenses with accreditation on wealth management and qualification as required by country.  
•    Clear view on how to work with Compliance, Credit & Risk and Internal Control to ensure a balanced risk operating environment.
•    Able to communicate well in English and Arabic is a must.
