We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manger, Technology Control.

Business: Regional CIO - ASP

Principal responsibilities

The Hong Kong CIO Team consists of subject matter expects in technologies and is responsible for supporting the Chief Information Office Hong Kong to drive and implement Technology Strategies including the Operations and Governance of our technologies in Hong Kong. The Senior Consultant Specialist is a member of the Hong Kong CIO Team. This role collaborates with global, region and market Global Business/Global Function Technology and Business to drive sustainable growth to the HSBC HK business and ensures compliance to internal control and regulation.

Resilience and Internal Control

  • Ensure adherence to standard controls, and provide support to teams to achieve compliance and framework, capability management, security controls and technology architecture designs.
  • Support the coordination of regulatory and audit assessment, review and examination.
  • Establish and maintain technology and cyber risk oversight through monitoring and analysis of integrated Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and applicable Key Control Indicators (KCIs).
  • Support the implementation of Operational Resilience Framework.

Technology Governance

  • Support the governance of cross Global Business/Global Function technology projects for HSBC HK (AMH) by supporting technology teams to manage delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, resourcing, dependencies, communications and budget.
  • Supporting, monitoring and reporting progress, issues, dependencies and risks to the programme management, internal stakeholders and/or steering committees. Also, making recommendations to influence decision-making in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realization.
  • Coordinate regulatory and industry initiatives and provide support on technology implementation.

Technology strategy

  • Support the development of HSBC HK (AMH) Technology strategy, with alignment with Digital Acceleration Programme.
  • Support the management of Technology–business relationship; represent Technology in business discussions and ensure necessary technology capabilities required by the business are developed.
  • Support HK industry wide (including but not limited to regulatory, government, industry body) initiatives.
  • Support innovation and partnership initiatives with universities and industries.
Requisitos
  • University degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline.
  • Good understanding of technology and it’s application, up to date with latest technology trends and ideas in the wider market.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Being able to work independently and prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment; seek regular feedback and contribute in team meetings.
  • Experience in presenting to business and technology stakeholders, ability to articulate in writing detailed concepts and to present information to a variety of audiences in a clear and concise manner.
  • Commercial acumen and good risk management and mitigation skills.
  • Positive, proactive and can do attitude.
  • Experience in managing risk and control, audit, and regulatory requirement as added advantage.
  • Experience working with external parties, incubators, start-ups, universities and industry bodies as added advantage.
