We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President - Chief Control Office - TRANSVERSAL TEAM

Principal responsibilities

  • Assess and analyze the impact of the select internal and external events and host the read cross forum across multiple stakeholders
  • Play a critical role in supporting the global rollout and embedding of Operational Resilience framework supporting the Market & Security Services Operational Resilience Non Financial Risk team
  • Responsible for engaging with Senior Ops stakeholders globally to validate the Important Business Services (IBS), critical/non-critical functions and the previously set tolerance thresholds – including rationales, and driving the work required to close any exceptions.
  • Responsible for updating the Impact Threshold documents per Important Business Services (IBS) and refreshing the data with input from key stakeholders (primarily Senior Operations Manager & IT etc] and ensuring correct sign-offs
  • Ensuring close collaboration and alignment with Business Architecture team who are the recipients of the validated Important Business Service (IBS) and threshold information and managing the feedback loop in case of any changes
  • Responsible for ensuring the Important Business Services information (details/Impact Tolerances/Stakeholders etc) is tracked and maintained to a high degree of quality and accuracy
  • Helping with ad-hoc queries and support
  • Supporting collation of artefacts and drafting response for annual self assessments
  • Ensure adherence to correct processes and protocols

Requisitos
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related field such as business or finance.
  • Good understanding of Risk and Control framework and the operational aspects underpinning Control processes
  • Motivated, dynamic, and should have demonstrated the ability to work closely with team members and collaborate with colleagues and senior stakeholders globally
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise a number of deliverables across several workstreams
  • Proven organizational, planning, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and team building skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to be able to interact in a professional manner at all levels in the organization including Senior management
  • Proficient in Advanced Excel and other MS Office tools, proficient in Python, VBA and MS Access Database skills
  • Good understanding of Investment Banking products and functions.
  • Appreciation of financial industry and key regulation on the financial markets practices.
