We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist. 

In this role, you will:  

  • Close monitoring and understanding of available capacity supply.
  • Pro-active engagement with the business to establish demand. 
  • Maintaining a close relationship with the project delivery team and solution architects.
  • Act as a “front door” engagement point for new demand and interest.  This includes explaining basic functionality, familiarity with documentation to direct queries and tracking any questions or concerns are addressed with support from the project team.
  • Produce supply/demand projections and contribute to decision making about expansion as needed.
  • Engage with business heads to provide regular summary views and lead steerco sessions.
Requisitos

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:     

  • A minimum of 8+ Years IT experience in Database Administration & Infrastructure Delivery
  • Specific knowledge of ExaCC (a.k.a Oracle Cloud@Customer) is ideal but not essential from day one as this is primarily a non-technical role and we can support that learning.  Some proven ability to quickly pick up technical knowledge as it will be essential to doing the role effectively.
  • Basic understanding of cloud-like deployment concepts and principles (that we are attempting to emulate on premise).
    • Strong personality to become a welcome new member of an already established close knit and mutually supportive internal team.
    • Represent the department as a professional, enthusiastic and patient engagement point with often demanding and difficult to work with business areas.  Ability to interpret technical information into simple concepts at a high level to help them. 
    • Comfortable presenting information and seeking input from stakeholders and department heads.
  • Technical Supply and Demand experience. 
  • Attention to detail on manipulating data (in tools including excel) and tracking issues to completion.
  • Experience of working in and navigating large and complex global and regulated organisation with rapidly changing priorities.
  • Lead and bring together SMEs at times to manage questions and concerns.
  • Act as an advocate between service delivery and customer.
  • Manage cross domain technical / process blockers through effective collaboration.
