Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world’s largest global wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. We provide products and services such as bank accounts, credit cards, personal loans and mortgages, as well as asset management, insurance, wealth management and private banking, that best suit our customers’ needs.
We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.
In this role, you will:
• Lead, develop and manage a team of Relationship managers managing our High Net Worth premier clients to ensure achievement of the business objectives
• Create and maintain an environment the team maximizes performances in achieving overall WPB objectives
• Perform continuous team's portfolio analysis to identify potential client leads and opportunities
• Detailed, meticulous and precise in identifying opportunities and gaps and ability to craft out quick business strategies to achieve business goals
• Monitor and act on sales activity management information and other internal information tools, using them to coach your team and achieve the business goals.
• Ability to constantly inspect what we expect on team's deliverables on regular basis
• Demonstrate strong ability to lead the team to self-source, develop new business by actively prospecting for new clients and referrals, and leveraging your existing network to generate New to Bank leads
• Fulfilling clients necessitates while providing an exceptional client experience is the expected behavior from all our employees and it will be measured by specific metric.
• Use the principles and guidelines in the operating model to ensure customer needs are identified and where appropriate use the support provided by specialists
• Lead and manage the Wealth RMs team BAU activities (Portfolio Management, Reviews and Needs fulfilment as per Financials Resources Planning).
• Drive a high-performance culture through robust objective setting, performance reviews and action to address poor performance.
• Ensuring that sales & operations are undertaken in accordance with HSBC Bank plc. FIM, BIM and Credit Policy lending guidelines.
• Comply with local regulatory requirements.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
• University graduate with a minimum of 5 years of sales & service experience in financial services industry
• Strong understanding of financial markets and investment products
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills to be able to work individually as well as to collaborate with stakeholders to meet overall team's objectives.
• Highly driven and possess the ability to succeed within a challenging environment
• Outgoing disposition, well-equipped with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Down to earth and resilient individual with an entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset who is able to work independently and in a strong team environment.
• Demonstrate behaviours consistent with HSBC Values
• Proven adherence to controls and compliance with no significant breaches
• Professional financial qualification strongly preferred (i.e. CEFA, ICWM or equivalent qualification)
• CISI Level 3
• J07 Qualification is an asset and must be complete within a year of Joining.
