We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Product Engineer

Principal responsibilities

  • Product manager roles and responsibilities in payments & receivables product, Omni Collect solution & Digital merchant services.
  • Lead product design and product launch related to GPS products, Omni Collect & Digital merchant services.
  • Come up with the product differentiators for selling solution to clients, work with sales, relationship / GPS teams to gather market feedback.
  • Explore partnerships with external payment providers, platforms, schemes as well as internal teams like WPB, Markets to create end to end solutions for clients etc.
  • Designing and setting up operational processes
  • Tax Compliance: Structuring tax treatment- GST, reverse charge mechanism and TDS handling for scheme and APM related invoicing, which involves complex domestic tax regulations
  • Partner Onboarding and Governance: Coordinating with schemes and key domestic payment partners like BillDesk for onboarding, contracts and operational integration.
  • Supporting financial accounting, pricing, and billing setup specific to merchant acquiring
  • Deliver and collaborate for product deployments related to GPS products, Omni & Digital merchant services.
  • Drive key programs, initiatives run within GPS, always adhering on time to market deadlines.
  • Support commercialization of GPS solutions across existing and next generation suite of products.
  • Pilot Client Onboarding and Support: Working directly with early clients during the pilot phase to manage onboarding, pricing discussions, issue resolution and merchant-specific operational and integration requirements
  • Collaborate with GPS partners across IT, Operations, GPS markets & other stakeholders to delivery end-to-end solution for clients.
  • Collaborate with GPS & Coverage teams to deliver desired business outcomes.
  • Support product governance and risk management activities, third party related assessment, product analytics monitoring (chargeback ratio, refunds etc), exception approvals (credit risk), regulatory reporting, merchant-specific pricing decisions, and client-specific issue resolution

Requisitos
  • Minimum of 8-10 years proven and progressive cash management product set-up and management experience or equivalent.
  • Prior corporate transaction banking or cash management experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Related experience in merchant acquiring or card business is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experienced in project and program management.
  • Experienced in co-creation with IT & internal business partners.
  • Proven ability to deliver creative and flexible customer solutions.
  • Ability to understand a customer’s business and the fundamentals of running a business.
  • Good level of business acumen and commercial awareness, including economic, cultural, procedural, and regulatory issues
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent range of communication skills, including written, verbal, and the ability to deliver compelling presentations.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to provide recommendations on decision-making.
  • Qualification to a University Degree and/or training courses
  • Educated to graduate or post-graduate level (or equivalent)
  • Significant experience in product development, project management, fintech engagement, market/client facing banking functions.
  • Prior expertise in cash management and specifically exposure to Payment products across several markets is preferred.
  • Ability to influence decisions and work to tight deadlines.
  • Effective negotiation , stakeholder management skills
