In this role, you will manage and provide support for the ongoing development of the Capital Market, specifically Fixed Income and Structured Products, suite of products for wholesale clients for WPB Australia. The role will report to Head of Investment – Wholesale for HSBC Australia.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing existing fixed income & structured products for HSBC Australia, which includes:
    • Ensuring strong product control, governance, and compliance with all regulatory and policy requirements.
    • Meeting all regulatory and procedural requirements as necessary.
    • Acting as an SME for sales and operations teams.
  • Assisting the Head of Investments, Wholesale in the delivery of new products for the Australian Market.
  • Managing the end-to-end delivery of new structured products based on customer insights and needs.
  • Supporting the business in the delivery of research and market insights to clients.
  • Developing and actively maintain client facing product collateral.
  • Providing product training and operational support across the business.
  • Presenting to the sales team on new product ideas, internal house views and key updates in financial markets.
  • Being a core part of the highly motivated team through effective communication of business opportunities and delivery of objectives, specifically including collaborating effectively with Funds and Alternatives product team.
Requisitos

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Finance and/or business-related field with relevant experience in management of a wealth product portfolio for products such as managed funds, bonds, structured products, ETFs and other investment solutions.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of product management, including product design, information technology requirements, day to day management and compliance experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
  • Working knowledge of Australian wealth management and financial advice regulation for investment products for retail and wholesale clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to influence as well as developing strong and productive relationships with key senior management and colleagues in a complex environment.

Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
