We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Product Owner - Global Payments Solutions.

Principal responsibilities

  • Leads the delivery function for the assigned product.
  • Act as the key connector between global product team and Guangzhou IT team.
  • Drive and participate in delivery PODs.
  • Address functional query from developers.
  • Work with testers to ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with GPS partners across Operations, GPS markets & other stakeholders to delivery end-to-end solution for clients.
  • Support the selection, onboarding and management of external vendors.
  • Support commercialization of GPS solutions across existing and next generation suite of products.
  • Support product governance and risk management activities.

Requisitos
  • Minimum 5 years' work experience in the payments/merchant acquiring industry, ideally with a strong understanding of card acquiring, alternative payment methods, real time payments, payment gateway technology, APIs, and the surrounding ecosystems.
  • Excellent understanding of E2E payment journeys from the point of client initiation to clearing and settlement, across multiple geographies and scheme types.
  • Proven experience in project management, requirement analysis, business case development, risk management, marketing support.  
  • Ability to make sound decisions and drive solutions based on those decisions, with the support of the wider team (IT / architecture / operations / lines of business).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze complex problems, interpret customer and/or operational needs and develop integrated, creative solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify the root causes of problems and generate effective solutions. Alongside this, adaptability is key, as Strategic Business Change s must be able to pivot quickly in response to new information or changing circumstances, ensuring that the change process remains on track despite obstacles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to take a complex message and articulate in a manner that is clear for stakeholders to understand and action.
  • Excellent stakeholder management across a complex global environment.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
