We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role Product Owner

Role Purpose:

Our Digital teams are an integrated global group of over 4500 technologists and commercial thinkers, working across our offices in the UK, India, China, Hong Kong, the US, Canada, Poland and Mexico. Our work includes developing new mobile apps and online experiences; using digital messaging to build the relationship with our customers; building and improving the underlying technology and security platforms; and innovating our propositions to take advantage of innovation, within iWPB.

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Product Owner for the Americas Engineering Pod, based out of Mexico region. Your role will be key in defining and prioritizing the roadmap for infrastructure initiatives and products, ensuring they align with the strategic objectives of iWPB Digital Platforms and deliver value to our retail banking customers. You will work closely with our delivery and engineering teams, as well as our colleagues in ITID, to support the delivery of world-class service across 300+ Digital Banking services globally. Main Activities

  • Define and articulate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Americas Engineering Pod's infrastructure products and initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall iWPB Digital Platform goals.

  • Translate business needs and customer requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.

  • Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and strategic importance.

  • Manage initiatives which can provide new products to the business with a competitive edge.

  • Manage initiatives which protect and secure new or existing services and products to the business.

  • Work closely with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure solutions meet product requirements and quality standards.

  • Ensure operational and system tests are successfully completed and results are shared with teams.

  • Provide estimates for recharge and resource to the business or application project manager.

  • Ensure infrastructure billing is as per agreed estimates.

  • Provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders with regard to the progress of infrastructure-related tasks in relation to agreed timelines and milestones.

  • Manage and report risks associated with the Infrastructure area.

  • Ensuring infrastructure deliverables are as per the agreed quality, cost, and on schedule.

  • Conduct regular team meetings and produce periodic reports.

  • Timely escalation of issues and mitigation actions.

Requisitos
  • Ability to build strong relationships and communicate with a wide spectrum of stakeholders, especially with senior stakeholders in Business & IT.

  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, DevOps tools, Agile methodologies, and open to new Ways of Working.

  • Experience of managing multi-disciplined, multi-location teams to timelines.

  • Ability to work in an unstructured and changing environment and adaptable to managing changing priorities with the ability to pivot on strategy and priorities when business needs arise.

  • Self-sufficient and demonstrates initiative, and open to learn new practices and techniques.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence others positively.
