We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Product Specialist / Trader.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Responsible for fixed income trading and execution for global fixed income
  • Work with wider team and internal stakeholders to build a strong fixed income franchise
  • Maintain and make improvement to the fixed income execution, advisory and research processes
  • Collaborate with counterparties and HSBC business units to expand fixed income product offering in primary and secondary market
  • Spot investment and trading opportunities
  • Perform due diligence and research on potential investment opportunities and generate actionable ideas, themes and strategies
  • Collaborate with regional and global counterparts to generate trade ideas
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders on various new business initiatives, rolling out of global advisory platform, ad hoc Information Technology projects, operations and so on
Requisitos
  • Solid experience on financial markets, open to candidate from sell and buy side but preference with fixed income experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferably with multi language capabilities
  • Broad knowledge in various Fixed Income instruments across capital structure including subordinated and hybrid papers and across Fixed Income credit segments globally including non-Asia credits
  • Team player with outstanding relationship building skills
  • Being able to keep abreast of the latest developments in the financial markets at all times
  • Strong excel skills are essential; Programming knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications will be a plus
