We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Senior Consultant Specialist

•  Monitor Production/Testing environment , provide level 1/2 support to ensure high performance and availability of application and Infrastructure.
• DevOps experience with scripting languages (ex. Python), experience with automation tools (ex. Ansible) knowledge of version control systems (ex Git), understanding of cloud platform ( GCP ) and expertise in CI/CD pipeline is important .
• Good Knowledge on Control-M/UNIX is mandatory and knowledge on DataStage/Peoplesoft will be added advantage.
• Experience on Qlik Sense will have added advantage.
• Identify system bottlenecks and opportunities to process improvements. Works to align best practices across production support team.
• Hands on experience on Application performance management, and monitoring tools like AppDynamics and Splunk.
• Hands-on work to manage the BAU and Adhoc requests to recover services from Outage at the earliest, avoid recurrence of same Incident and ensure the production services health.
• Conduct in-depth root cause analysis of the incident and ensure fixes and procedures are put in place to avoid consistent re-occurrence of the issue.
• Work in an agile environment that requires reacting to changes within 3 week sprints

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:      

• knowledge of UNIX and LINUX operating systems, storage environments, network protocols and file systems.
• Knowledge of Incident management, problem management, root cause analysis, resolution and reporting.
• Maintaining space utilization statistics, forecast future space requirements.
• Flexibility to provide production support on weekends on rotation basis, also should be willing to support in morning and second shift.
• Role requires to ensure security vulnerabilities are addressed with priority to safeguard Application infrastructure.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
