We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Project Manager/Business Analyst.

Principal Responsibilities

Role Purpose

The Product Solutions Team is a global team of c100 FTEs supporting all Securities Services (SSv) products and is accountable for the governance, design, management, delivery and execution of all strategic product and service-related programmes and overarching governance of the Securities Services operating model in line with strategy and targets.

This role leads change initiation, analysis, design, and delivery, and is accountable for successfully interpreting external and internal requirements and translating those into delivery of solutions to ensure benefits realisation. Based in Hong Kong, this is a global role within the Transaction Management team, working with teams and stakeholders across multiple regions, initially within the ISO 20022 financial messaging upgrade programme.

The role holder will play a pivotal role in how the team delivers and embeds change, working in conjunction with the product, operations, and technology teams alongside other delivery partners- the role may be assigned to other change initiatives dependent on current demand and priorities at the time.

In this role you will

  • Drive project analysis and delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, interdependencies, budget and risks
  • Assist business stakeholders with translation of complex business requirements into Epics and User Stories that can be delivered by Technology teams via respective backlogs with minimum cross-product co-ordination
  • Manage / support relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support Programme Manager / Senior Project Managers across all stages of the initiative lifecycle to deliver larger / more complex / high priority programmes and projects
  • Lead / support resource forecasting and planning for projects
  • Lead / support the establishment of effective programme controls, procedures, and reporting in accordance with HSBC’s Change Framework
  • Manage / support the development and promotion of the Technology portfolio and project management practices
Requisitos

To be successful you will need

  • Solid experience in change management or migration projects in securities / fund administration / fund middle office
  • University graduate preferably in business administration, information technology or a similar discipline
  • Solid knowledge of Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency and Middle Office Vendor product – MultiFonds, Markit EDM, XSP, etc. are definitely an advantage
  • Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of the securities market and the associated market infrastructure for Fund Administration, Fund Middle Office and Custody business
  • General awareness of business, regulatory and technology change within investment management is essential
  • Good technical aptitude, including excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Excel macros
