We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Research Analyst.

Principal responsibilities:

• In this role, you will collaborate with multiple Portfolio Managers and analysts to iterate on financial models and investments, track news flows and sell-side research views, cover results, provide modelling of company financials, and prepare investment writeups/presentations. You will also be required to conduct benchmarking of valuation and operational metrics (versus peer groups), sensitivity/scenario analysis and sustainability evaluation. Additionally, you will be expected to attend management, sell-side, intermediary, and sector expert calls.
• Stock level research includes i) Financial modelling and forecasting based on findings from corporate access and using sell-side analysis and ii) a Sustainability analysis and assessment focused on materiality and change.
• Articulate and clearly communicate investment ideas and research findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Be flexible and dip into new, evolving investment areas such as responsible investing.

• The candidate should have a degree in finance or equivalent Master of Business Administration/ Chartered Financial Analyst/ Chartered Accountant degree, with 3-4 years of investment research experience.
• They should have good financial modeling and accounting skills.
• Understanding of equity markets, fundamental and valuations, and the ability to generate investment ideas.
• The candidate should have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good working understanding of Bloomberg is a plus.
