This position will be tasked with FCR quality assurance, SQ quality assurance, Compliant case quality assurance for HSBC Life Insurance, as well as the risk and control monitoring related assignments directed by Risk and Control Senior Manager and team leaders.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
To carry out quality assurance procedures to ensure Financial Crime Risk 1st line controls are implemented in consistent with related Financial Crime Risk related policies and procedures.
To carry out quality assurance procedures to ensure SQ controls are implemented in consistent with related SQ policies and procedures.
To carry out quality assurance procedures to ensure complaint cases are handled in consistent with related complaint handling policies and procedures.
To provide support to line manager in tasks assigned including but not limited to risk and control assessment, control testing or control monitoring activity checking; and etc.
Keeping abreast of rapidly changing statutory and regulatory reporting requirements, assisting in the continual review and updating of processes to ensure that the highest standards of control and integrity are maintained.
Understanding the continually changing needs of both external and internal customers.
Good understanding of HSBC and how it works as it would be a steep learning curve for any external candidate.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
Solid Operational Risk knowledge and experience in control testing or internal audit; experiences and knowledge in financial crime risk and regulations are preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
Related work experience in Risk Management, Internal Control, or Internal Audit are preferred.
IT literate.
