Role Purpose:

  • ). Ensure timely & efficient delivery of data/commentary required by the third-party service provider for timely & accurate delivery of fund/client reports.
  • For new funds & clients, develop and lead delivery of accurate & timely production as well as delivery of fund/client reports and Investment Report via third-party service provider. This includes working with Sales team as well as offshore offices to define requirements of reports for new funds/clients and establishing prosses for delivery of data/commentary required by the third-party service provider for production of reports.
  • To control day to day investment guidelines monitoring process of the local funds/mandates (i.e. baby funds /fund of funds) and also to oversee monitoring performed by offshore investment management offices.
  • Continuous focus of efficiency and automation & standardization of manual processes over time.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting in accordance with HSBC policies (including section B.1.2 of the Group Operations FIM).

Impact on the Business / Function

  • Handle bespoke reporting for existing clients on segregated mandates, complex institutional clients and deliver it in accurate and timely manner
  • Oversight production of monthly factsheets for local domiciled finds in accurate and timely manner
  • Ensure necessary reports / files are uploaded in the web site timely and accurately
  • Oversight production of Investment Report by efficiently using the external third-party supplier
  • To control day to day investment guidelines monitoring process of the local funds/mandates (i.e. baby funds /fund of funds) and also to oversee monitoring performed by investment management office

Customers / Stakeholders

  •  Actively work with Client Directors and Sales Support Team to agree with client reporting requirements.
  • Communicate with internal and external parties to ensure timely delivery of information related to client reporting services / changes.
  • Act as key stakeholder in providing inputs on new process or new product relating to client reporting.
  • Act as an investment restriction monitoring manager to escalate to relevant stakeholders including Client Directors and Sales Support Team in event of any significant breach.
