Report to: SVP and Head of Global Payments Solutions
Role Purpose:
To drive growth for Taiwan based Financial Institutions by developing innovation cash management solutions. Institutional client is a strategic sector within Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) and as such brings with it a high level of visibility. Given the global nature of the portfolio, and the bank’s strategic growth ambition in this sector, the role offers excellent exposure to teams and stakeholders across the bank globally.
Job Content:
1. Drive new sales opportunities, working closely with Relationship/Coverage Managers, global sales partners and other stakeholders to develop and execute sub-sector strategies and client plans, generate leads and respond to referrals.
2. Maintain and enhance existing revenue streams and develop new revenue streams by selling innovative GPS solutions to a defined portfolio of clients, and through new client acquisition.
3. Build relationships with senior Finance, Treasury, and Procurement staff within client organizations, leveraging these to identify client needs and build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities in Taiwan and globally.
4. Create and lead deal teams to manage complex multi-country cash management transactions.
5. Manage pricing discussions and negotiations, and conduct periodic pricing reviews
6. Produce high quality pitch material and timely responses to RFIs and RFPs to secure key mandates.
7. Be recognized as a GPS specialist with an ability to display competent knowledge of relevant products and services.
8. Drive client engagement, providing thought leadership and sharing best practice cash and liquidity solutions.
