We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Analyst - Information Management
Principal responsibilities
- Support Reporting and Analysis Manager to explore management information capabilities and produce quality management information and visualization within the bounds of existing system constraints and newly developed systems.
- Preparation of regular MI reports and analysis work for risk management or business teams.
- Ad hoc reporting requests/project as per the risk Management’s request.
- Monitoring wholesale data quality and performance of required remediation.
- Identify issues and escalate immediately for timely resolution/avoidance of adverse impact on the business.
- Take ownership of the assigned process and address the questions by liaising with the existing area experts.
- Documentations required such as process documents, task trackers etc.
- Look through the scope of enhancing process efficiencies through automation, standardization or removing redundancies.
- Continuous self-learning to upskill, cross team support, participation in extra-curricular activities, live up to HSBC values and culture.

- Good communication skills, both written and spoken English.
- Manage self in a positive, engaging, thoughtful and constructive manner, from a role which often has a material influence on outcomes.
- Operate under rigid timelines to generate complex reports, in many cases with imperfect data and undertake any ad-hoc tasks/projects as requested by senior management.
- Proven ability to prioritize competing demands and manage stakeholder expectations. This role is expected to have multiple deliverables with multiple team members at one time.
- Ability to work independently and to take ownership, respond to feedback and suggest viable alternative approaches.
- Ensuring consistency of service and demonstrating the HSBC's Values.
- Graduate or Post-Graduate preferably from a quantitative field of study (Finance/Economics/Engineering etc.)
