We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Associate Director, software Engineering Specialist.

Principal responsibilities

• Lead the Front-to-Back transformation in Channel (Branch and Contact Centre) and Operation and support business growth and operation streamlining through effective application of new technologies in digital staff tablet, straight-through processing, conversational banking and omni-channel customer experience.
• Develop effective IT support for WPB Channel through providing IT consultancy and delivering IT solutions, so as to achieve the strategic goals and efficient operations of the business.
• Drive the definition and execution of IT strategy for delivering best in class technical services to enable WPB Channel (Branch and Contact Centre) in maintaining a competitive position.
• Explore the AI Large Language model, Big Data, and Speech-to-Text solution to support business growth and efficient gain to improve the product roadmap in competitive position.
• Manage a diverse team of IT professionals in delivering growth, regulatory, risk and efficiency programmes.
• Work closely with Group IT product owners in ensuring that IT programmes are delivered in accordance with the Group IT strategy, priority and roadmap whilst meeting requirements of the WPB business.
• Ensure compliance with external regulatory requirements, internal control policies and standards in the course of project execution and in daily operational support.
• Build an engaged and effective team of IT development function and continually enhance their IT consulting and technical capabilities.
• Secure quality and maintainability of IT applications, and manage technology and security risks so as to provide sustainable service proposition to customers.

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline with over 14 years technology working experiences including 8 years in management level.
• Proven track record in technology domain with experience in IT management positions in a banking or finance environment.
• Experience in managing large scale IT programmes in a complex environment, preferably on a regional or global scale.
• Solid experience in digital technologies including data and mobile solutions, and well versed with emerging technologies.
• Track record in building digital development teams and delivering through agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management capability.
• Strong technical skills in understanding and deploying enterprise level application systems, and good knowledge of scalable and complex platforms.
• Strong commercial orientation, financial acumen and previous experience in managing complex project financials and return on investment.
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
