We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Business Analyst - SECURITIES SERVICES CTB - TKH.

Principal responsibilities

Data-Driven Requirements Analysis & Solution Design

  • Conduct comprehensive data gap analysis across multiple platforms to assess data availability, accuracy and consistency across markets for KPI calculation and visualization.
  • Document business requirement, develop user stories and functional specifications for in-house built BI tools on a web portal platform that transform raw securities data into actionable insights for operations and clients.
  • Design and maintain end-to-end process maps and data lineage ensuring seamless data flows from different HSBC source systems to visualization layers.

Agile Delivery & BI Solution Implementation

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business users and IT development teams in agile pods to implement data visualization solutions.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for BI solutions to validate data accuracy and meets regulatory requirements.
  • Define migration strategies to transit from legacy reporting solutions to new strategic data visualization platforms.

Performance Analytics & Stakeholder Management

  • Establish standardized KPIs for securities services (e.g. STP%, Fail Trade% and NAV accuracy & timeliness etc) to establish a monitor framework for measuring operational performance.
  • Analyze trends and root causes behind performance gaps, delivering data driven insights to senior leadership highlighting optimization opportunities and strategic enhancements.
  • Deliver training programs to enhance business users’ proficiency in self-service analytics and dashboard utilization.

Continuous Improvement & Industry Innovation

  • Benchmark HSBC's securities data capabilities against industry standards and fintech solutions.
  • Research and recommend innovative visualization (e.g. predictive analytics, AI-driven alerts) to enhance securities servicing.
  • Propose strategic enhancements to existing data practices and vendor solutions, ensuring alignment with digital transformation goals.

Adaptive Project Leadership

  • Support cross-functional data initiatives as needed (e.g. treasury product analytics, client onboarding dashboards).
  • Stay abreast of securities services industry data trends and evolving regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to the evolution of HSBC’s enterprise data governance framework.

  • Enable business analysis – utilize predictive models to assess business performance and support internal teams in making data-driven decisions.
  • This role blends technical solution design with securities services expertise, redefining how SSv serves institutional clients in a data-driven landscape.
Requisitos

Core Competencies:

  • Proven Change Delivery: 5+ years delivering complex business/IT system changes in financial services, with demonstrable track record in digital platform implementations and process re-engineering, include workflow automation and Straight Through Process improvement.
  • Business Analysis Excellence, including advance requirement gathering / process mapping / used to agile methodologies.
  • Stakeholder Management, liaising among clients, IT, program/project managers and counterparty BAs.
  • Fundamental Industry Knowledge, including but not limited to Securities Services (custody, settlements, corporate actions) or Treasury products (cash management, cash forecasting) or Broker-dealer/asset owner operations.
  • Personality attributes including but limited to working under high pressure and fast pacing environment, with multiple product development running parallel. Quick adaption to new deliverables and new technologies (including AI), and know when to escalate.
  • Knowledge and experience in some digital tools, including confluence, JIRA, cloud platform, BI tools and AI tools.luence, JIRA, Visio).
