We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Business Manager, Global Payments Solutions.

 

The jobholder is responsible for supporting the Head of GPS India by extending business management function to GPS India including developing, communication, obtaining buy-in, tracking and monitoring of suitable strategies and tactical initiatives, analysis of the P&L drivers and identification of opportunities/mitigants required to grow the GPS business. The position has Line Manager responsibility for Business Managers within GPS India team, and is as such accountable for their deliverables and

 

The role also enables delivery of GPS India profitability targets through effective business and markets management achieved through working with country GPS Head to facilitate resolution of business challenges, driving business reviews, developing market intelligence, building analytics to identify potential business opportunities/manage client attrition etc.

Principal responsibilities 

  • Plan and drive growth for the Global Payments Solutions (GPS) teams in business management capacity through engagement with Head of GPS India and Stakeholders
  • Establish a strong communications channel and partnership with Group Strategy and Planning to drive GPS strategy in a pro-active manner.
  • Develop suitable strategies and plan initiatives required to grow the business in India in engagement with ASP Management Committee and respective GPS Heads
  • Monitor industry and client trends
  • ASP Business Management's focal point as an extension of the India GPS office.
  • Drives and develops cash management understanding of how internal and external challenges will impact the demand for cash management services and revenue.
  • Identify, support and coordinate revenue & cost enhancements and share best practice globally
  • Drives enablement of cash management target operating model and initiatives in engagement with GPS and Global Business stakeholders.
  • Support other members of the business management team to the fullest extent to achieve their goals
  • Support in overseeing the monthly production, evaluation and interpretation of monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc management reports. Suitably leverage Business Analytics platform to drive enhanced business performance effectiveness.
  • Develop and monitor consolidated performance information against strategic plans
  • Enhances communication between regional and country stakeholders.
  • Working closely with BRCM/ORIC to support risk management in the business
  • Ensures appropriate internal controls.
  • Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
  • Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy.
Requisitos
  • Experience in banking, preferably in cash management.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Understanding of transaction banking business and products
  • Business management (i.e. P&L management) expertise.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and across geographies.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficient in use of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Minimum Graduation or as required for the role, whichever is higher
