We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.
Business: Markets Sec Services IT
Principal responsibilities:
• Provide leadership to the team of highly-skilled engineers responsible to achieve business objectives
• Ensure a high quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices,
• Deliver future state architecture to replacing existing legacy batch based system.
• Adopting Agile & DevOps methodology to drive the working efficiency and transparency
• Contribute with analysis and solutions to fulfil business requirements and performance optimization
• Conference call after office hour may require when participate in project involve colleagues from different locations.
• A university graduate with degree in computer science or a related discipline.
• 8+ years IT experience in system development.
• Fluent oral English is required to participate in various daily conference call with colleagues around the world.
•Experience in programming and scripting skills (Java, Spring Framework Ecosystem, SQL, Restful API,etc.)
• Demonstrable experience in Containerization-Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Agile or DevOps experience will be strong advantage.
• Strong problem solving skills, able to work independently and under pressure against multiple deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and documentation skills.
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills and strong initiative.
• Any Open Source project participation or any Github or blog publication will be an advantage.
• Technical experience in system architecture design will be strong advantage.
What additional skills will be good to have?
