We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist
Business: Wealth & Personal Banking IT
Principal responsibilities
- Contribute in all phases of the project lifecycle
- Provide delivery advice with consideration of technical direction for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of HSBC IT systems to business
- Develop an expert-level understanding of the appropriate business systems of the Group and their associated IT development requirements
- Apply specialist expertise in the development of IT systems with the objective of optimizing operational performance and improving quality whilst increasing cost-effectiveness
- Manage relationships at a product/service level with the business
- Maintain and ensure due observance of HSBC Internal Control Standards, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal / external auditors and external regulators
- Ensure awareness of compliance requirements and implementation of Group Compliance Policy
Requisitos
- A minimum of 10 years' IT software development experiences
- Solid Experience in Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead
- Knowledge and experience of IT project development, working in the Data Management space
- Experience of working with multiple work streams in a scaled environment
- Familiar with DevOps and Agile process
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, ability to document and communicate progress against plans, taking corrective action as necessary, and an ability to interact professionally with an array of business users
- High levels of self-motivation, able to self-manage and deliver to committed timescale.
- Ability to negotiate, resolve conflicts and defend technical choices relating to business, development and project release.
- Experience in working in matrix project teams, self-motivated and ability in working under pressure in matrix team structure.
