 We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Lead Consultant Specialist

 In this role, you will:

• You will be a part of the equity derivatives development team located in Pune. As a part of the development team of the complex business, you will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of the application within equity derivatives space.
• Along with that you will be leading/working on the strategic developments going on within the team.
• You will be part of talented software development team and will be instrumental in delivering HSBC’s application design, upgrades and additions to EQD IT architecture to comply with business, regulatory and user’s requests.
• Equity Derivatives IT (EQD IT) team is a global team responsible for the definition and delivery of Equity Derivatives systems across HSBC.
  
• The Equity Derivatives IT department is organized by services (Post-Trade, Pricing and Analytics, Common Services, FO Tools, regulatory, Risk and P&L) and teams are distributed across the 5 locations (Pune, Paris, Hong-Kong, Guangzhou London and New-York).

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• B. E/B. Tech/M. E/M. S/MCA degree with 12+ years of IT experience.
• Excellent programming skills and complete Hands-On expertise.
• Handson experience in Kotlin and/or Java latest versions.
• Sound knowledge of cloud driven architectures / tools / technologies / systems
• Proficient in code versioning tools such as GIT, SVN etc.
• Proficient in Data Structures & Algorithms and their practical usages
• Excellent problem solving and logical reasoning skills.
• Good knowledge of Relational Database. 
• Highly proficient in working in an "Agile way" with a high empathy for continuous delivery and DevSecOps.
• Hands-On expertise in Design and Development of an enterprise level application.
• Technology / programming language should not be a barrier to getting things done. Open to work on multiple technologies as required.
• End to end ownership of delivery of a product (from requirement to production).
• Innovation happens as natural side-effect of the work that is undertaken.
• Defines and drives the future state architecture through influence and delivery.
• Has a deep awareness of technology, what is happening in the tech community, thinking critically about it and applying that to delivering change.
• Required to work with Product Owner(s) directly without any intermediaries.
• Build trusted relationships with the business and key stakeholders over the period of time.
• Communication is NOT forced - leads by example. They might facilitate meetings, meetups, learning sessions and write blogs in order to disseminate information in a sustainable way in geographically spread multi-cultural environment.
• Provides "value" in issue resolution for wider teams even for things that they haven't necessarily been involved in coding.
• Always strives to continue to learn and persuade others to continue to learn as well as mentor as required.
• Good to have knowledge of Investment Banking domain
