We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Sr. Associate Director, Software Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Product Owners, DevOps teams, and responsible for the DevOps Testing tools that are
• used/consumed by other DevOps Teams.
• Develop and operate highly available Enterprise level Digital Solutions created for Testing & development community.
• Work hands on as Architect & Development manager in end-to-end management of the solution from a technical & Product management perspective (Architecture, Development and operations)
• Owning the platform's OKR's and resiliency aspects. Ensure that OKRs (Releases per engineer, MTTR, Controls Compliance, # of incidents etc.) are met and exceeded for self and the wider team, by periodic review, course correction and RCA.
• Managing the development, testing and support operations for the solutions as well as working on release plans and governance activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and quality assurance to define testing goals, priorities and schedules.
• Troubleshooting performance, security and functional issues and ensuring that the Mean Time to Recover is within the expected SLAs.
• Document key artifacts for the solutions such as Design documents, Infra Configurations, Test & release strategies, Non-functional requirements etc.
• Working with customers to understand pain points and aggressively looking to improve those
• Technical ownership of the solutions including delivery of new features and operation of the production service.
• Define the technical vision and roadmap for the product. Build and execute the strategy to reach the vision and deliver on roadmap.
• Upgrade the tools at regular intervals to be compliant with security, features and support coverage.
• Timely status reporting of the issues identified.
• Operate Agile POD’s and adopting Devops best practices.
• Line management of the team to help them grow and look after day-to-day challenges.

Qualifications – External

 To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in IT
• Expertise in delivering and operating highly available Devops Services covering testing and test management domain.
• Excellent knowledge in Selenium, Appium, Webdriver, enterprise scale Digital grids, Test NG, Rest Assured, Cucumber BDD, API testing etc.
• Good knowledge in Devops tooling like GIT, Jenkins, Nexus & Ansible. Experience in Oracle/SQL DB. Experience in JMeter.
• Extensive IT development experience in Product Development (Front-end technologies, Back-end technologies, Mobile grids, Mobile OS level details etc.)
• Good technical understanding of Java APIs, Node APIs, Microservices etc. Hands-on experience on CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, Bamboo etc.
• Excellent knowledge of Mobile OS level frameworks (Android SDK, xCode etc.) as well as platform connectivity elements such as adb, iOS debug bridge etc.
• Good technical knowledge of designing Mobile offerings for testing and development community (Remote device principles, Device OS level streaming etc.)
• Good understanding of Mobile OS landscape (iOS & Android frameworks) as well as new technologies being developed in that space
• Familiar with SQL skills and database operations, proactively communicate with product owner, developers, QA, and database engineers to ensure requirements are implemented correctly. Experience with stress/performance testing and has the knowledge of security testing, scalability testing etc. Good understanding of Web Technologies and understanding of emerging trends and technologies i.e.  AI in Mobile development space, ML models, Co-pilots etc.
• Highly proficient in working in an agile way with a high empathy for continuous delivery and DevSecOps – must be able to do small, low-risk, high cadence change.
• Lead a team of engineers to 'get the job done' this is a combination of technical change as well organizational change
• Expertise in systems thinking
• empathy and understanding of people and the roles they play in organizations
• Have a deep awareness of technology, what is happening in the tech community, thinking critically about it and applying that to delivering change
• Strong English Communication and analytical skills are a must for working in a complex global team environment. Proven track record of managing engineering resources across large projects. Co-ordination of activities across multiple IT teams in multiple locations and time zones. Strong understanding of stakeholder management, within the business and IT. Strong risk management skills.
