We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, Finance Business Partnering.

Principal Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Business Finance for Hong Kong Retail Banking and Wealth, the role will:

  • Facilitate the monthly month-end closing process, ensure financial information is processed and reported on time, responsible for reviewing and approving journals and account reconciliation
  • Revamp and streamline how the current accounting book and record are interface to Group system and process
  • Partner closely with the business and the Hong Kong Financial Controller and team to ensure that financial reporting is accurate and that all relevant Group accounting policies are complied with
  • Help business with GAAP interpretations, accounting policies and internal control documentation
  • Provide support and guidance to PayMe with all finance operations activities including new initiatives and BAU activities to ensure correct accounting policies are complied with
  • Approve marketing and acquisition programs, challenge how Payme spend contra marketing to deliver the growth
  • Provide support during audits and examinations related to internal control
  • Partner, support and influence and challenge PayMe business performance and strategic direction through provision of insightful business performance tracking and analytics, highlighting risks and opportunities and challenging performance issues where they arise
  • Support PayMe with relevant strategic planning activities such as growth and commercial modelling and annual planning exercises
  • Support PayMe with finance expertise for change and strategic projects, included but not limited to; financial projections, business case preparation, reporting of performance on P&L, benefits realization and applying correct accounting policies and treatments
  • Identify external trends, risks and opportunities and translate these intro strategic recommendations
  • Close and collaborative engagement with other finance sub-functions (including Treasury and ALCM, Financial Reporting, Regulatory and Accounting Policy teams) at regional and global levels
  • Ensure effective allocation of resources (including capital and funding to support balance sheet growth, and investment budgets against strategic priorities) to optimise returns for the Bank and shareholders
  • Support strategic implementation of finance change initiatives, ensuring that centrally driven delivery fully meets the requirements of the PayMe / Hong Kong businesses
Requisitos
  • Diverse finance experience with exposure across multiple disciplines including financial accounting and control, governance, finance change management and business information and analysis, asset liability and capital management
  • Analytical, strategy-minded and enjoy working on complicated issues and scenario
  • Experience of developing and using financial models, leveraging large data sets and digital tools
  • Strong knowledge and experience in financial services.  Relevant experience across retail banking, private banking, asset management and/or insurance would all be advantageous
  • Strong leadership skill with high drive and can-do attitude.  Outstanding interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills with a proven ability to engage effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group, including challenging and partnering with senior business leaders
  • Proven ability in working across multi-disciplinary and multi-culturally diverse work environments with strong organisational, time management and planning skills to cope with multiple responsibilities across a large and complex landscape
