We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, GTS Marketing.

Principal Responsibilities

Role purpose (overall high-level summary of the role)

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Manager for Trade Services (“GTS”) Marketing to lead marketing campaigns, projects, and programmes within the GTS business area. As an integral member of the CIB Business Marketing team, you will execute go-to-market strategies for GTS products and solutions in connection with the overall Transaction Banking proposition and marketing strategy. You will collaborate closely with GTS, Coverage, and Client Segment & Sector marketing leads to ensure product positioning aligns with client needs. This role is pivotal in advancing CIB’s growth agenda by ensuring our offerings are effectively communicated, well-positioned, and distinct in a competitive market.

Utilising your trade expertise, you will work with the business, clients, and marketing organisation to enhance client engagement and help deliver an exceptional client experience with GTS propositions and solutions. Success will be measured by supporting GTS and coverage in deepening client relationships through new GTS deal origination, increasing wallet share and penetration, building a profitable GTS portfolio, strengthening client relationships to be recognised as the clients’ GTS financial partner of choice, facilitating clients and their supply chains in transitioning to net-zero, and capitalising on sustainability as a commercial opportunity.

In this role you will

Go-to-Market Execution

  • Lead the global marketing strategy for Global Trade Solutions, aligning with commercial growth objectives. Identify and prioritize marketing opportunities for the proposition set

  • Execute integrated marketing campaigns for GTS products and services and collaborate on transaction banking wider initiatives

  • Translate Trade capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions tailored to client needs and industry trends

  • Collaborate with Trade, Coverage, and Client Strategy teams to support product innovation and commercialization efforts

  • Work with sector and segment marketing leads to ensure cohesive execution aligned with client priorities across industries and geographies

Content, Campaigns & Thought Leadership

  • Develop insight-led content (whitepapers, product briefs, case studies, digital assets) to highlight the bank’s strengths in GTS

  • Run targeted campaigns to drive product adoption and pipeline growth

  • Collaborate with global communications and brand teams to enhance visibility around key themes such as international trade, tariffs and digital transformation

Performance & Insights

  • Develop insight-led content (whitepapers, product briefs, case studies, digital assets) to highlight the bank’s leadership in trade and GTS offering and articulate how we can meet our clients needs

  • Run targeted campaigns to drive new GTS deal origination, increase GTS wallet share and penetration, build a profitable GTS portfolio, strengthen client relationships to be recognised as the clients’ GTS financial partner of choice

  • Collaborate with global communications and brand teams to enhance visibility around key themes such as ESG and digital transformation

Leadership & Teamwork 

  • Act as a liaison between marketing, GTS and other transaction banking teams (GPS, SSV, FX), as well as client coverage teams

  • Strong collaboration across all business lines including UK and HK teams

  • Foster a performance-driven culture through transparency, insight, and continuous improvement

  • Promote Agile Principles and drive an Agile way of working within your team

Requisitos

To be successful you will need

  • Extensive years of experience in B2B financial services marketing with a focus on product marketing and/or Trade/Transactional Banking, within a global banking environment

  • Strong understanding of trade products and services

  • Proven success in executing go-to-market strategies that enhance product and client engagement

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience in matrixed, global organizations

  • Ability to influence stakeholders across business and marketing functions

  • Strong analytical, communication, and storytelling skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s in Marketing, Finance, or related field preferred
