As the Senior Risk Governance & Quality Manager and first line of defence you will manage the product risk and governance for all our wealth products, including new product introductions, as well as seeking opportunities to enhance product design, proposition, process to meet commercial and control objectives, regulatory requirements, internal policies and standards

Your main responsibilities will include:•    Lead and coordinate the implementation of global and local product governance and risk management framework and partner with local, regional and global teams
•    Undertake risk assessments for new initiatives and projects delivered by the business
•    Provide timely and expert advice to business relating to product governance, processes, risk and controls 
•    Partner with a wide variety of business stakeholders to deliver commercially compliant outcomes and ensure that they have visibility of key risks and controls
•    Support the business in assessing product risks, quality of products and ongoing product and pricing reviews to ensure delivery of fair outcomes for customers
•    Ensure all key risks within the business activities and operations are identified, mitigated and monitored by appropriate controls and relevant reporting (governance committee, Wealth KRIs, and Risk and Control system) is in place
•    Manage risk strategically and holistically, by raising awareness and understanding of risks, controls and product governance including promoting a strong risk culture and behavior

Requisitos

To be successful in this role, you will need:
•    Extensive experience in a (senior) operational risk, audit and/or governance role gained within financial or professional services
•    Ability to navigate effectively in a complex matrix structure and managing requirements form different stakeholders to build connections and demonstrate value
•    Relevant business tertiary and/or postgraduate qualification
•    Strategic and holistic governance experience and demonstrated capabilities in developing risk and control frameworks 
•    Demonstrated experience in establishing and driving improvements in risk management and governance process and  strategy
Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
