We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Manager Test Planning and Execution

Principal responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, Innovate and continually improve the Operational Resilience Testing Strategy and delivery roadmap, in line with regulatory requirements and business priorities.
  • Provide SME support to entity Op Res, treat intelligence and testing teams to ensure planning and testing are rigorous, challenging and in line with current guidance. Support testing automation, looking for opportunities to mature and simplify activities in line with best practice.
  • Oversee the Collection, processing, analyse and dissemination of threat intelligence at a Group Level (to inform scenario library, planning and test plans) and support Entity Level interpretation. Assure the maintaining and updating of the Group High-Level Threat Register direct and support the conduct of ad hoc threat assessments (in support of scenario planning and testing).
  • Lead the Maintenance and updating of the Group scenarios library (for scenario planning and testing).
  • Support the review, maintenance and approval of the Group Testing Strategy, Plan & Framework. Identify industry, cross-business/entity/IBS/geography tests to help deepen and broaden the resilience of the IBS, Firm and Market, actively participate and lead engagements.
  • Develop, prepare and maintain the Group and Important Group Business Service (IGBS) scenario testing plans; Develop, prepare and execute the Group and Important Group Business Service (IGBS) scenario testing as detailed in the Group Test plan or ad hoc as directed.
  • Work across the Group to embed and sustain Operational Resilience scenario testing, acting as a trusted adviser and senior SME in support of complex Industry, Entity and IBS test planning and execution. Work across other testing disciplines to integrate Operational Resilience scenario testing with other relating testing e.g. asset/capability level testing to drive effective and efficient testing.
  • Analyse testing outcomes to drive insight that improves testing and resilience more broadly across the Group. Support the wider design and provision of testing MI in support effective decision making.
  • Lead the monitoring, tracking and provide MI on observations actions identified via the group-led tests. Support the definition, documentation, maintenance and continuous improvement of vulnerability identification, assessment, and management, including performing a “read across” of vulnerabilities
  • Support regulatory engagement, audits and supervisory reviews. Ensure integration and alignment of the framework to the Risk and Control Framework
Requisitos
  • Testing expertise: Strong understanding and proven experience of Operational Resilience Scenario Testing; related resilience (testing) disciplines e.g., Business Continuity or Risk Scenario Planning & Testing and Resilience Monitoring & Metric design (including leading & lagging indicators) and tools.
  • Operational Resilience: In depth level understanding of operational resilience regulatory requirements, the broader landscape, and the challenges for firms with a global footprint.
  • Critical and analytical thinking – Ability to break down complex issues and apply analytical techniques to drive actionable insights.
  • Communication and influence – Strong verbal and written communications skills; ability to communicate complex issues in simple and effective way that supports effective decision making and influences outcomes.
  • Stakeholder management and collaboration: Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and transcend organization boundaries to achieve results.
  • Problem solving: Creative and pragmatic approach to identifying issues and implementing effective solutions
  • Self-starter: Self-starting, with strong intellectual curiosity that drives a proactive continuous improvement mindset.
  • Attention to detail: High quality deliverables that meet/achieve expectations, with no/ few errors
