We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Portfolio Services Manager

Principal responsibilities

  • The role will work with all the Global MSS Programme Managers, MSS Head of Strategy and Planning as well as the MSS Transformation CoE leadership to support programme work force planning, resource management, data analysis & data visualization.
  • The role holder will perform a number of tasks to support appropriate resource planning and governance including; Run resourcing and procurement processes for the business, including internal approvals, reviewing Statements of Work, raising Purchase Orders, and managing contracts and supplier relationships.
  • Manage workforce planning, to ensure resourcing requirements and programme demand are met in line with Book of Work and delivery timelines.
  • Identify resourcing demand (via WFP) and agree solutions (i.e. bench move / recruitment) in conjunction with Delivery Leads / Hiring Managers
  • Create and manage cost centres for the portfolio based on approved funding line, working closely with Central finance team and MSS COO
  • Consolidation of workforce planning inputs on a weekly basis, to ensure the consistency, timeliness, and availability of data for reporting & analysis.
  • Govern and define data quality standards & monitoring for workforce planning for MSS Transformation, while maintaining alignment with bank-wide software on a monthly basis; Review & challenge workforce planning inputs, to ensure they align with the long-term transformation resourcing strategy and appropriate guardrails.
  • Work with procurement to manage onboarding processes in India & improve existing processes, to ensure a streamlined approach; Provision centralization and consolidation of cost centre management for the portfolio based on approved funding line, working closely with Programme Leads, Central finance team and MSS COO.
  • Coordinate and facilitate movement of staff members across cost centres based on their allocation and associated funding lines; Support in defining the strategy for all resource capabilities; Support in building out an initial view for ‘Clearing House’ based on capability assessments and demand requirements from the programmes.
  • Work with Finance to ensure appropriate cadence in driving finance insights and decisions driven from headcount data; Maintain view of open roles, progress with recruitment and provide weekly M.I. to report on progress.
  • The role holder needs to perform his/her duties in alignment with the applicable Risk and Compliance frameworks.

Requisitos
  • Experience in establishing and running resource management process for a large, complex change portfolio.
  • Thorough understanding of HSBC procurement and requisition process and tools (HAT, Oracle Fusion, Coupa etc.).
  • Experience in working cross GB/GF with multiple stakeholders having evidenced ability to collaborate and negotiate; Problem solving skills / driving continuous improvements to existing processes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines; Attention to detail is essential, as dealing with sensitive datasets in a regulatory context.
  • Experience in capability catalogue design & roll-out; Experience with SaaS-provider CRM or Workforce Planning management software (Anaplan preferred)
  • Experience designing data visualization dashboards and wireframes (e.g. Qlik, Tableau) preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Clarity project management system; Knowledge of audit processes and SOX controls.
  • Experience with Anaplan workforce planning software.
  • An understanding of the banking & capital markets regulatory environment.
