We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Product Proposition Manager, Pensions.
Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Own end-to-end product development and strategy, aligning with HSBC’s Wealth’s objectives and market opportunities. Drive various projects to differentiate HSBC’s position
- Lead product development initiatives, overseeing feasibility, regulatory approvals and execution across functions including 2LODs, Trustees, and fund managers
- Define and enforce governance framework for Pensions product, react quickly to regulatory changes and mitigate risks. Represent Pensions product team in various governance forums in HSBC
- Partner with senior management to shape Pensions strategy, secure funding, and present business cases independently. Resolve strategic conflicts and align priorities across HSBC Wealth, Trustee, IT, and external parties (e.g. lawyer, eMPF platform)
- Guide and lead teammates, fostering high-performing team culture and drive continuous development of team members
- Drive data-based decision making, leveraging market insights and D&A to enhance product features and pricing
- Oversee performance analysis, ensure complicated concepts (e.g. fund commentary, regulatory impacts) are presented in easy-to-understand materials for management and customers
Requisitos
To be successful you will need:
- Extensive experience at managerial level in financial institutions
- In-depth knowledge of MPF/pensions products, regulatory landscape, and operations (e.g., administration, fund performance tracking), paired with strong common sense to balance technical requirement with business needs
- Proven project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams under tight deadlines
- Executive-level stakeholder management capabilities, with experience influencing senior management decisions, negotiating with Trustees/fund managers in multicultural environments
- Analytical and strategic mindset, leveraging data for decision-making and driving product innovation
- Leadership skills, including experience in managing high-performing teams, coaching managers and driving team culture
- Exceptional English writing and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategies to senior management, regulators and mass population
