Role Purpose:
The Wealth Sales Manager may be responsible for Branch PRMs/FPMs teams in one or more branches according to market size and complexity.  The role belongs to the face-to-face distribution operating model which defines globally consistent structures, standards and operating procedures for WPB.

The role is an integral part of WPB and embraces all WPB customer segments and propositions. In many markets the branch has minimal on-site administration and makes full use of all available straight through processing, centres of excellence and direct channels.

Duties & Responsibilities
•    Lead your team to deliver the key performance indicators (KPIs) and plan
•    Ensure sales activity management and the sales process are used to effectively meet customer needs
•    Lead Team Sales Managers of PRMs and FPMs in line with the processes and activities in the WPB Operating Model and other operational guidelines to achieve consistency of management of our people and delivery of service and sales to HSBC customers 
•    Monitor and act on sales activity management information and other internal information tools, using them to coach your team and achieve the business goals
•    Identify and act on factors that would increase local competitiveness
•    Writing investment business from Remote RMs portfolio.
•    Promoting collaboration and referring JADE/EBS/Private banking leads. 
•    Use the principles and guidelines in the operating model to ensure customer needs are identified and where appropriate PRMs use the support provided by specialists.
•    Conduct Field Visit Observations (FVO)/ Live Observations on the job and coach PRMs & FPMs on sales skills based on these FVOs on a weekly basis.
•    Achieving assigned country PRM NPS score by leading both the sales managers.
•    Monitor the quality of PRM & FPMs calls and provide feedback and coaching.
•    Personally manage the application of EDRAS, client funnel management and sales quality standards
•    Implement customer relationship and proposition strategies.
•    In conjunction with your team build a prominent profile in the community in which you are based in a way that builds HSBC’s reputation and brand.
•    Lead and manage the PRM team.
•    Drive a high-performance culture through robust objective setting, performance reviews and action to address poor performance.
•    Evaluate performance against KPIs and make discretionary incentive recommendations in line with the Group incentive plans.
•    Observe, feedback and coach the team to improve effectiveness and performance.
•    Ensure that a learning development plan is developed by each PWRM, and that progress is monitored at least every six months.
•    Ensure that each PWRM and PSM completes all mandatory HSBC training courses.
•    Train, maintain and develop your team to a level appropriate for the business and in line with country training plans.
•    Recruit and on-board high calibre individuals in line with headcount and resourcing plans.
•    Maintain and enhance personal and team knowledge and skills through sharing best practice for creating an exceptional customer experience.
•    Hold regular team and one-to-one meetings with team members to share priorities, establish focus, coach and address risks & issues.
•    Role-model HSBC values and create an inclusive work environment which embraces diversity and fosters engagement.
•    Demonstrate connectivity to other teams and actions which benefit the Group above local interests.
•    Ensuring that sales & operations are undertaken in accordance with HSBC Bank plc. FIM, BIM and Credit Policy lending guidelines.
•    Comply with local regulatory requirements.
•    Proactively assisting management in identifying and containing Money Laundering compliance risk through reporting of suspicious customers to MLRO via FC-UAR.
•    Strictly following and implementing with accuracy KYC and SCC due diligence information for individuals from Sanction & sensitive countries.
•    Quality responses provided for RFI OWS and payments screening alerts and raise and investigate Suspicious Activity Reports and Sanctions related compliance referrals.
•    Complete all mandatory Compliance training on time and attend the BMLCM trainings.
•    Management of Information Risk including adherence to ISR policy and completion of ISR mandatory trainings.
•    Be alert to operational risk losses during the execution of the day-to-day responsibilities, Identify an operational risk loss and report this to manager ensuring that it is reported to their local risk coordinator.
•    Adherence to sanction guidance contained in the Legal and compliance FIM B2.17.7.
•    Overall responsibility for Branch staff completion of mandatory training and adherence to AML and Sanctions policies.
•    Active support and participation in AML and Sanctions project and Global Standards.

Requisitos

Experience & Qualifications: 
•    Graduation degree is REQUIRED– to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit. 
•    Proven ability in team leadership and management/Proven ability in Retail distribution
•    Proven ability in relationship management in the Retail/Wealth sector.
•    Demonstrate behaviours consistent with HSBC Values.
•    Proven adherence to controls and compliance with no significant breached.
•    Minimum of 5 yrs. of sales & service experience in financial services industry some of which in the role of sales manager.
•    Proven track record as a sales leader managing teams selling financial planning solutions to high-net-worth clients.
•    Experience developing sales strategies and successfully implementing them.
•    Strong Financial services knowledge and experience in building relationships with the clients.
•    Familiarity with financial markets and good knowledge of wealth management products including insurance & investments.
•    Excellent interpersonal skills, with a particular emphasis upon inspiring, influencing and negotiating.
•    Coaching sales techniques, best practice and sales management on a team and one to one basis.
•    Planning and organising skills.
•    Analytical skills and Problem-solving skills.
•    Strategic thinker, coupled with strong leadership and coaching skills and strong business acumen.
•    Strong selling and presentation skills regarding wealth / insurance & investment solutions
•    Strong leader with sound judgement and excellent people management skills
•    High energy level to lead drive change within sales organisation.
